Holiday Makeup 2015

It’s Christmas time y’all! I’m here to show y’all a very soft makeup tutorial with a deep bold red lip.
Let’s jump in!

By now we should all know primers are a must.
In this picture I primed my face with the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer
then I applied my L’Oreal Infallible Foundation in Sun Beige with my Beauty Blender
Now we gotta cover up dark circles and any blemishes you might want to conceal.
I then took my Maybelline Better Skin concealer and applied it under my eyes
and my blemishes, then blended it out with a beauty blender.
So I’m going to ‘bake’. I apply my E.L.F High Definition Powder under my eyes and I’ll leave that on until I’m almost done with my makeup.
I’ll apply my CoverFX Matte Setting Powder in Medium everywhere else, where I didn’t apply the HD powder.
Primers. Primers. Primers.
I will now prime my eyes with my MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
I apply this all over the eyelid with my fingers.
You can apply with a brush but it’s just easier with my fingers πŸ™‚
I like to add a nude eyeshadow over the base so it’s easier to blend.
Here I’m using Makeup Geek’s eyeshadow in Beaches and Cream
I apply it all over the eyelid and under my eyebrows as well, to work as a highlight
I apply this MAC eyeshadow in Cork with a big fluffy brush in my crease.
Its a nice subtle brown. It’s the perfect transition color.
With an angled brush I took this dark brown/cranberry color from the Morphe 35S pallete
I made the letter V on my outer corner and brought it in to my crease.
Once I made it dark enough, I took a fluffy brush and blend it out to make it as seamless as possible.
 Morphe 35S
*Here it is already blended
I then took MAC Amber Lights eyeshadow and swept it mid way my eyelid
I haven’t done this in a while, but let’s wing it out!
I took my MAC Penultimate Eye Liner in Rapid Black
*I did a video on how I do my eyeliner, you can check it out here
Back to the basics!
Curl the lashes and then coat them with mascara.
*This mascara is my FAVORITE!
I took a smudge brush and MAC Copperplate eyeshadow and used it on my bottom
lash liner just to add a little smoke to my eyes πŸ™‚
Now time for some brows!
I also have a video on how I fill my ‘already filled’ eyebrows.
You can check it out here
Even during the holidays you can get some sun!
and applied it around my forehead, and under my cheekbones
We’re almost done babes!
Milani Baked Blush in Red Vino applied to my cheekbones adds a nice color and a nice sheen
I finally splurged on a beautiful highlighter.
I applied this to the top of my cheekbones, the highest point of my brows, the bridge of the nose, and my cupids bow.
We’re finishing off the look with a deep red color.
This does dry matte, so the glossy look will be gone in a few minutes. This baby is intense, and takes a lot to budge, but it also does flake after long wear. Be sure to remove and reapply when you begin feeling a reapplication coming on.
And this is the finished product. Its a little simple eye make up with a bold lip.
I hope you all liked this Holiday Makeup look. Its a little difficult making tutorials when I still haven’t been able to fix my computer and getting it to read videos. I hope you all don’t mind all the reading.
Let me know down below what you would change about this look?
xoxo, K
