Tutorial de maquillaje: Piña Colada

I was inspired by a nice refreshing piña colada while sitting along the beach waters. I decided this was the perfect opportunity to finally bring to you makeup tutorials that were inspired by some beautiful and tasty cocktails. If you want to see how I got this bright yellow and green makeup, stick around and I’ll show you exactly that! 🙂 
Estaba inspirada cuando estaba tomando una piña colada cerca del mar. Decidí que era la perfecta oportunidad para traerles tutoriales de maquillaje que estén inspirados en cócteles que son hermosos y deliciosos.  Si quieres ver cómo me hice el maquillaje, quédate aquí y yo te puedo enseñar cómo 🙂

If you’ve been here before then I can safely assume you love makeup and drinking. Am I right? If not I’m sorry but I’m sure you’ll find something you love around here, don’t worry. I’ve been trying to find new ways to bring to you my love for drinking while still incorporating my love for makeup. It’s been about six months that I’ve been looking for a better way to do that instead of my usual Borracha Barbie and here I am! 

Si has visto mi página puedo suponer que te gusta el maquillaje y beber. ¿Estoy correcta? No, perdóname pero te  puedo asegurar que vas a encontrar algo aquí que te va a encantar, no te preocupes. He estado tratando de incorporar mi amor para el maquillaje con mi amor para las bebidas y creo que por fin encontré algo que me gusta! Tengo aproximadamente seis meses buscado una forma distinta de presentarles esto en vez de mis historias de Borracha Barbie y hoy se los presento!

Eye primer/ Pre base de ojos: Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion
Eye shadow/ Sombra: Morphe Brushes 35S Palette
Crease color/ Sombra de plegadura: MAC Copperplate

Once I primed my eye I went ahead and applied my white eye shadow all over my lid. I chose white to mimic the white coconut drink then I blended in my gray color to create depth in my eyes but still trying to stick to my light white colors.  

Después de aplicar mi pre base aplique mi sombra blanca sobre todo mi parpado. Escogí blanco porque quise imitar el blanco del coco en el cóctel. Y luego mezcle la sombra gris para intensidad mis ojos.

Pencil liner/ delineador: NYX Electro Liner Powerlines
Green eyeshadow/ sombra verde: Morphe Brushes 35S Palette

Blue eyeliner/ delineador azul:  Kiko Milano Eyeliner in Penna 03

Once I applied all the eye shadows I went in with my yellow eyeliner and did my normal wing. I made it a little thicker and longer than usual so when I do apply the blue and green colors the yellow will still be able to stand out. I applied my green shadow starting from the inner corner to a little more than mid way through the eyeliner to create that gradient effect. Blue shimmer eye liner is next. I applied this from the inner corner to about half way through the green eye shadow, still creating that gradient effect.
Cuando acabe de aplicar todas mis sombras me metí y aplique mi delineador amarillo. En realidad siempre hago mi línea así pero hoy lo hice más grueso y más largo para que cuando aplique el azul y verde, el amarillo todavía pudiera resaltar. Aplique mi sombra verde, empezando por dentro de mis ojos hasta un poco más que el centro del ojo para hacer un efecto gradiente. Lo que sigue es mi delineador azul con brillo. Aplique el delineador empezando desde el centro hasta medio de la sombra verde, todavía tratando de hacer el efecto gradiente.

Moisturizer/ crema hidratante: Kiko Milano Mat Fluid
Foundation/ Base: L’oréal Infallible Pro-Matte 105 Natural Beige

I always apply moisturizer first to make sure my face is hydrated enough. Yes even if my face is oily it helps combat that as well. You’ll notice I skipped the primer today this will be a post for a later day 😉 I then applied my favorite foundation all over my face with my fingers and pressed it in with a sponge for a flawless finish
Siempre aplico crema hidratante a mi cara primero. Aunque mi cara sea grasosa siempre ayuda aplicar creme hidratante porque va a combatir la grasa. Si te distes cuenta que no me puse pre base, voy hablar de eso otro día 😉 Y luego aplique mi favorita base sobre mi cara, primero con mis dedos y luego lo mezclé con una esponja para dejar los resultados perfectos.

Concealer/ Corrector: NYX HD Concealer CW05
Cream Highlighter/ iluminador de crema: LA Girl Pro Concealer Yellow Corrector

Cream bronzer/ Bronceador de crema: Covergirl Trublend Fixstick d567
I used my concealer to cover up my dark circles and any other blemishes I might have that day. I also applied my highlighter with my concealer to bring out my features like the center of my nose, the highs of my cheekbones, and the center of my forehead. I used my cream bronzer to bring warmth to my face since when I think of piña colada on the beach I think of a bronzed look. 😉
 Utilice mi corrector para cubrir los círculos oscuros por debajo de mis ojos y otras manchas que tuve ese día. También aplique mi realce arriba de mi corrector para que resalten ciertas características por ejemplo el centro de mi nariz, lo más alto de mis mejillas, y el centro de mi frente. Use mi bronceador de crema para dar color a mi cara porque cuando pienso de una piña colada por el mar pienso en bronceado.

Under-eye powder/ polvo debajo del ojo: Ben Nye Banana Powder
Face powder/ Polvo de cara: Sephora 8hr Mattifying Compact foundation 
To prevent creasing under my eyes I always “bake”, which is allowing loose powder trap in moisture in between my pores and the powder itself which will increase the wear of my makeup. I always apply this powder with a sponge and leave it for about 3-5 minutes. While I wait for that to “bake” I go in with a face brush and apply powder all over my face just to set in my cream products.

Para prevenir arrugas por debajo de mis ojos siempre hago “bake”, esto es dejando polvo suelto atrapando la humedad por de medio de mis poros así como para aumentar la longevidad del maquillaje. Yo siempre aplico este polvo con una esponja  y lo dejo de 3-5 minutos. Mientras que estoy esperando que se haga “bake” yo aplico un polvo sobre toda la cara con un cepillo especial solo para sellar los productos de crema.

Bronzer/ bronceador: Benefit Hoola

 Mascara/ máscara: Benefit They’re Real
Eyebrows/ cejas: Anastasia Beverly Hills Beauty Express

To get that bronzed look I applied even more bronzer in the same places I applied my cream bronzer to enhance that warmth. I know you can’t see the highlight in these pics, I don’t know why to be honest, but I did apply Prosecco Pop on the tops of my cheekbones, above the arch of my brow, the center of my nose, and my cupid’s bow. Once I’ve done that I will go in and fill in my eyebrows, I have a whole video on how I do this and keep them clean, click here for the video. Let’s not forget the mascara! I would recommend applying falsies, but you know me I stick to my mascara most of the time. 🙂

Para obtener esa mirada, aplique más bronceador en polvo en las mismas áreas que aplique el bronceador de crema. Yo sé que en estas fotos no ves el realce y no sé por qué para decirte la verdad, pero si aplique Prosecco Pop arriba de mis mejillas, sobre los arcos de mis cejas, el centro de mi nariz, y sobre mi arco de cupido. Cuando acabo con eso me pinto mis cejas, tengo un video explicando cómo me las pinto y como las mantengo, haga clic aquí para ver el video. Y no vamos a olvidarnos de la máscara, yo recomendaría aplicar pestañas postizas, pero si me conoces yo solamente aplico máscara. 🙂

Lipliners/ perfiladores de labio:  MAC Beet & Kiko Milano 314
Lipstick/ labial:  Kylie Jenner Cosmetics Candy K
Before we begin I just want to say I wish I had chosen colors that were a little more red to really represent the cherry of a pina colada. If you recreate this look I would recommend using a bright red lipstick for this step. What I did first was line my lips with MAC Beet lipliner. I only applied this all around my lip and filled in my lips just a little bit. I then applied Kiko Milano 314 in the same areas as I did with Beet but I brought it a little closer to the center of my lips. To finish the lips I applied Candy K in the center of my lips and blended it out with a small blending brush. 

Antes que les explique cómo hacer este labial, les quiero decir que si lo pudiera hacer todo de nuevo yo escogería un color más rojo que el que tengo porque pudiera representar la cereza mucho más mejor. Si utiliza este look recomendaría usar un color rojo que resaltara más. Lo que hice primero es la línea de mis labios con Beet de MAC. Solo aplique alrededor de mis labios y un poco por el centro. Y luego aplico 314 de Kiko Milano en las mismas áreas de Beet pero lo aplique más cerca del centro de los labios. Para acabar aplique Candy K justo en el centro de mis labios y lo mezcle con un cepillo chico.

Here is the finished look! I fell in love with the yellow and I hope to wear it again!
