NYE Makeup Tutorial

Hey loves, looks like 2015 is almost out the door, and 2016 is almost here.
As of late I’ve loved the very simple, yet very glam look, so I figured New Years Eve would be a great time to express that.
A simple smokey eye with glitter liner and a nude lip. I think it’s a classic with a little twist.
LET’S BEGIN.

Y’all know this by now, but primers are a must!
I’m using Urban Decays Primer Potion.
*You’re probably thinking why didn’t I apply foundation first this is because I didn’t want to worry about fall out.
After I primed my eyes, I went ahead and applied MAC’s Yogurt all over my lid. This is to create a smooth base and allows the other shadows to blend well with each other.

Enough prep time.
Now I’ll be taking a fluffy brush and take MAC’s Cork and apply it to my crease.
As shown below.
______________________________
Once I’ve applied a transition into my crease, I’m going to take an angled brush and line my eyes with a black shadow.
Here I’m using Morphe’s 35S Pallet. I circled which black i’m using from the pallet.

I used E.L.F.’s angled eyeshadow brush to blend out the line.

Last shadow!
Then I’ll take MAC’s Saddle and apply it between the blended out black
eyeshadow and Cork eyeshadow.
*I know it looks blue here, but it’s the lighting.I promise it’ll look more true
to it’s color in future pictures.

Y’all please don’t hate me… but… the label came off of this eyeliner, so I can’t tell you what
brand this is. Just go ahead and use a glittery eyeliner.
I applied a thick line but much like my normal eyeliner.
I have a video of how I apply my liner, you can watch it HERE

Once the glitter eyeliner is dry, I applied a black eyeliner on top of it.
I used L’Oreal’s Voluminous Super Star in Black.
I did the same with the black as I did with the glitter just made a thinner line and wing.
*I also forgot to take a picture of my eyes with mascara until the finished product, but for mascara I used Maybelline’s Colossal Chaotic Lash.
We’re officially done with the eyes and now we’re onto the face πŸ™‚
These are my go to products.
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer
L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation in Sun Beige
I apply the the primer with my finger tips and apply the foundation with my beauty blender.
Now onto a light contour. I took L.A. Girl’s Pro Concealer in Toast.
I applied this on my temples and on the hallows of my cheeks. I will then blend it with my beauty blender.

Once we’ve blended it out, I went on ahead to apply concealer.
I’ll be using Maybelline’s FITme Concealer in Medium
Of course I applied concealer under my eyes but I went ahead and applied it to the bridge of my nose, the center of my forehead, on top of my cupid’s bow, and on the center of my chin.
Then blend
Now we need to set everything.
For under my eyes I used E.L.F.’s HD powder in yellow. I used a sponge to concentrate it under my eyes. Then I took CoverFX matte setting powder in Medium to use on the rest of my face.
To keep the bronze going, I’ll go ahead and apply NYC’s Smooth skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny. I applied this in the same places where I applied L.A. Girl’s concealer.

Before we move on, don’t forget to swipe off the excess HD Powder from earlier.
Eyebrows. eyebrows. eyebrows.
Y’all know the drill. I’ll go ahead and leave a link HERE so y’all can watch how I fill in my eyebrows.
Blush time!
I’ve been loving these two combined on my cheeks.
I apply MAC’s Mineralize Skinfinish in Cheeky Bronze first, it leaves a beautiful light rose on your cheeks with a beautiful shimmer, and then I’ll apply Milani Baked Blush in Red Vino.
BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal is perfect to apply on the tops of your cheekbones, as well as the bridge of your nose and the highest points of your eyebrows.

My favorite part! Lipstick time!
I’ve lined my lips with MAC lipliner Half Red and then applied NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm.

Here’s the finished look. I hope you all loved this. I know it’s a little difficult reading all the steps but I hope you all are able to get the idea of it. Please let me know what y’all think about this look. πŸ™‚
